The Nile River is the longest River in the world, at a  distance of about 4,160 miles or (6,690 km.)The Nile River rises near equator and flows through Mediterranean Sea.Once a Year , between July and October, the Nile flooded, and covered the valley with a thick layer of mud and silt. The Nile River irrigates about 6 million acres. Water from the Nile deposited fertile silt. Egyptian Farmers planted grains,beans,and vegetables in the wet Nile mud.
